Waldenwoods Resort offers great opportunities for boating, fishing, biking, hiking, and hourly family activities or simply lounging by the Olympic size swimming pool. Summer activities at Waldenwoods include golf,fireworks, hayrides, dances, bonfires, tennis, and beach volleyball. Winter is equally festive with activities like our ice fishing competitions, ice skating, sledding, breakfasts, New Year's party,and Valentines Ball.
The stately 10,000 square foot Cromaine Lodge sits right on the water's edge and features special events and the Bellringer Club Grille & Bar overlooking Michigan's most beautiful sunsets.

Situated on the coast of a 140 acre natural spring fed lake and surrounded by over 1000 acres of property, Waldenwoods is a true tribute to Henry David Thoreau's classic novel "Walden." In the Crouse family since 1837, a large piece of lake front property was established for the resort by J. Robert Crouse in 1924 and, in 1984, his grandson W. Frank Crouse launched a major reinvestment effort by the family to create a 5 star resort.
