Reports To:
All activities staff will report to Activities Manager.

Job Overview:
Within the Activities Department, you will provide our members with a safe, fun, and entertaining environment. There are multiple different job functions within this title specific to Activities, Marina, Pool-Attendant, as well as the Park-Store staff.

Activities Staff:
Facilitate and lead different activities for the members and guests of Waldenwoods Resort. Activities will include sports, games, music, dramatics, social recreation, arts and crafts, and cookouts, while considering the needs and interests of individual members.

Marina Staff:
Requirements for this position include maintaining a safe, fun, beach and water experience for all members and their guests as well as providing boat rental, monitoring the water park & lake, and keeping the beach area clean.

Park Store Staff:
Requirements for this position include providing exceptional customer service for all members and their guests by supplying firewood, ice cream, and other food & various items.

Qualifications:
  • Must have an outgoing and friendly personality.
  • Must have the ability to work with/serve people of all ages and walks of life.
  • Must be dependable, flexible, and responsible.
  • Must have effective communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to physically handle staying active all day in the summer heat.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Must commit to stay the entire summer, preferred (May-Oct)
  • At least 16 years old
  • Must be able to utilize phone and handheld radios with clear and effective communication.
  • Have strong swimming abilities.
Specific Skills (these are not required)
Knowledge/experience with the following skills:
  • Sailing/boating
  • Sports included but not limited to- tennis, basketball, volleyball, etc.
  • Outdoorsman/survival skills
  • Previous experience working with camps/campers.
  • Knowledge of working in a café/convenience store.
  • CPR/First Aid
